RESORTS WORLD LAS VEGAS HOSTS HOTELS.COM’S CAPTAIN OBVIOUS IN NEW CAMPAIGN

Captain Obvious

Hotels.com and Captain Obvious Gives Viewers a Taste of the Vast Experiences that Await at the Las Vegas Strip’s Newest Integrated Resort

LAS VEGAS (August 30, 2021) – Resorts World Las Vegas and Hotels.com are teaming up to showcase the newest property on the Las Vegas Strip and all it has to offer with the launch of this branded campaign featuring the beloved Captain Obvious.

Resorts World Las Vegas debuted this June as the first integrated resort to open on the Strip in more than a decade, quickly becoming a must-visit Las Vegas destination. In the campaign that launched today, Captain Obvious takes viewers on a high-speed tour through the robust property, including a look at the variety of experiences and amenities available at the 3,500-room property’s three hotel experiences – Las Vegas Hilton at Resorts World, Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World and Crockfords Las Vegas, LXR Hotels & Resorts. Captain Obvious makes his round through the resort providing a high-speed peek at the resort’s accommodations, 40 food and beverage venues, bohemian luxury day club, 117,000-square-foot casino and more.

“Working with Hotels.com to create this fun campaign starring Captain Obvious has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our resort,” said Scott Sibella, President of Resorts World Las Vegas. “The campaign showcases the iconic brand spokesperson as he tries food, room, nightlife and entertainment options at this property, giving an inside look into the resort’s many incredible offerings. We hope this campaign inspires Hotels.com customers to visit Las Vegas’s newest resort and experience the excitement for themselves.”

Captain Obvious travels in style as he arrives to the property in a bespoke “Resorts World Red” Rolls Royce and kicks off his adventure at Ayu Dayclub, the resort’s luxurious outdoor club that transports guests to an island party off the coast of Southeast Asia. He then heads to Famous Foods Street Eats, the one-of-a-kind Asian hawker-inspired food hall concept with 16 diverse street food stalls located at the heart of the resort, before lounging in one of the resort’s five pool experiences. Captain Obvious finishes his excursion in his lavish hotel suite, just as his delivery of king crab legs arrives via On the Fly, the resort’s innovative in-room dining alternative powered by Grubhub where guests can order food from any on-property outlet to their room straight from their phone.

“Las Vegas has always been one of the most popular destinations for Hotels.com travelers and we’re thrilled to have Captain Obvious help show off the city’s newest addition,” says Mike Wolfe, Head of Global Brand Creative for Hotels.com. “With Hotels.com, travelers can earn rewards wherever they stay and use rewards to stay where they want, including new properties like Resorts World Las Vegas.”
