Resorts World Las Vegas is proud to be LEED Gold Certified, positioning us among the best energy-efficient facilities on the globe. Across seven million square feet of the resort, expect exceptional accommodations, service, and experiences, while improving the planet.
LEED GOLD CERTIFIED
To achieve LEED Gold Certification, Resorts World was designed from the ground up, and inside-out, following stringent benchmarks in the green building sector. During construction, more than 80% of waste and debris, by weight, was diverted from landfills. Resorts World has reduced energy use and water consumption by more than 30%, based on existing industry standards. Our on-property co-generation facility operates at higher efficiency, which lowers environmental impacts. Our efforts have given Resorts World rarefied status as one of only seven LEED Gold buildings in Nevada’s hospitality sector.
Resorts World Las Vegas is the first and only property on the Las Vegas Strip to be certified by the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC). GBAC is the gold standard of safe facilities, providing third-party validation that ensures facilities implement strict protocols for facility cleaning. The GBAC council is comprised of global experts and leaders in public health and safety. It comprises 20 program elements (e.g., planning, goals, procurement, training). The current list of accredited facilities includes airports, stadiums, convention centers, schools, hotels, and spas.
