Website Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Resorts World Las Vegas LLC (hereinafter “Resorts World Las Vegas”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) with a casino property located at 3000 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109 (the “Property”), values you as a customer. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share certain information when you visit, use, or access (i) our Property for gaming or non-gaming amenities, (ii) websites, mobile applications, social media pages, and other electronic communication platforms that we control, and/or (iii) our rewards program (“Genting Rewards”) (collectively, “Services”). 

By visiting, using, or accessing our Services, you expressly consent to the practices described in this Policy. If there is anything contained in this Policy or the Terms of Use that you do not agree with, you should not visit, use, access, or provide information to us in connection with our Services. 

This Policy does not apply to services provided by our affiliated properties or to third-party services, including payment processors, gaming regulators, or partner platforms, which may have their own privacy practices. 

Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to certain individual rights with respect to some or all of your Personal Information. Please see the Notice of Privacy Rights for Residents of Certain U.S. States section of our Privacy Policy for more information related to privacy rights that may be applicable to you. 

2. How We May Collect Personal Information

In connection with providing our Services or other information you request, we may collect information that can be used to identify you individually or make you identifiable (collectively, “Personal Information”). A representative, non-exhaustive list of the categories and sources of Personal Information we may collect includes, but is not limited to:

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

  • Contact information such as name, home address, phone number, and email address
  • Demographic information such as date of birth and gender
  • Identification information such as your driver’s license (or other government-issued ID such as passport) information or social security number
  • Vehicle information when you drive an automobile on to our Property, including without limitation your license plate number and vehicle make and model
  • Account login information including username and password
  • Access to your geo-location
  • Financial and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number or bank account information, transactional information (deposit and withdrawal amounts, dates and times)
  • Your Genting Rewards or similar loyalty account number
  • Information you post or respond to on our social media pages, including your name, alias and social media profile
  • Employment and educational background information you provide to us when you apply for employment
  • Any Information you voluntarily provide.

Certain categories of Personal Information described above may constitute Sensitive Personal Information under applicable law. We use Sensitive Personal Information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

2.2 Information Automatically Collected

We, or our third-party service providers, may automatically collect Personal Information from or about you to understand how you interact with our Services, in order to optimize the functionality and performance of our online Services, troubleshoot technical issues, provide you with personalized experiences, and for analytics purposes.

  • Device and Wi-Fi Information. When you visit, use, or access our online Services, we may automatically collect server log file and related information such as: device type and identification number, operating system, browser type and plug-in, Internet Protocol (IP) address, Media Access Control (MAC) address, domain server, session time, bandwidth used, websites you visit, and geolocation data.
  • Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. We, or our third-party service providers, may use cookies, pixels, session replay tools, chat technology and other tracking technologies to automatically collect information from or about you. These technologies may record interactions with our Services, including clicks, page views, and form inputs. 
    • Cookies: Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your device via a browser to track your activities and/or preferences when you visit, use, or access our online Services. Cookies allow us to identify your device so that we can authenticate you, send you personalized advertisements, and enhance your user experience by remembering your preferences for our online Services, such as customized layout or language preference. Cookies may be temporary and expire when you close your browser, or they may be stored on your device until they are deleted. You may block or delete cookies by configuring your browser settings accordingly. However, this may impact your ability to access certain content of our online Services or conduct certain transactions with us. You can manage your Cookies preferences here. 
  • Pixels, Web Beacons: Website pages may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages and for other related statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain content and verifying system and server integrity). We also use these technical methods to analyze the traffic patterns, such as the frequency with which our users visit various parts of the Services. These technical methods may involve the transmission of Information either directly to us or to a third party authorized by us to collect Information on our behalf. Our Services may use retargeting pixels from Google, Facebook, and other ad networks. We may also use web beacons in HTML emails that we send to determine whether the recipients have opened those emails and/or clicked on links in those emails.
  • Analytics: Analytics are tools we use, such as Google Analytics and session-replay services, to help provide us with information about traffic to our website, to help us understand how visitors interact with our Services, to improve our website functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance usability. These tools may capture usage information such as page views, clicks, scroll behavior, and technical details about your browser and device. For Google Analytics services, this information may be shared with other services and websites who use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. 2.4 Information Collected from Third Parties

We may collect Personal Information about you from other sources when you connect or are directed to our Services from third party websites, applications, service providers, or our business partners. These third parties may have separate privacy practices that are independent of this Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party, including websites or applications operated by our business partners. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these third parties prior to using or providing Personal Information through those websites or applications.

2.5 Resorts World’s Digital Concierge & Chat Services – Consent and Disclaimers

The Services provide interactive features, including voluntary option to chat or text with our digital concierge RED. This interactive feature is powered by artificial intelligence. RED is provided for informational and customer service purposes only. AI-generated responses may not always be accurate and should not be relied upon as a substitute for human assistance.

By accessing and using RED, you agree that we may record and retain a transcript of all communications with you via this interactive tool, and/or may record or recreate your activity while using the Services, in order to provide our Services, enhance your Services experience, and for quality and customer services purposes. Chat transcripts and related information may be processed by third-party service providers that support our AI technology, hosting, analytics, or customer service functions. These providers are contractually required to maintain appropriate safeguards and process information in accordance with applicable law.

Please do not share sensitive personal information (such as your Social Security number or credit card information) with RED.

If you choose to interact with RED via text message, you consent to receive automated messages from Resorts World Las Vegas at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP. Your text message interactions may be recorded and retained as described above.

By choosing to interact with RED, you:

  • Acknowledge that you are interacting with an AI system;
  • Consent to the recording and retention of chat transcripts;
  • Consent to the processing of your information as described above and in this Privacy Policy; and
  • If engaging via SMS, provide your express written consent to receive automated text messages as described.

If you do not agree, please do not use RED.

Your use of RED on our Services is governed by this section, this Privacy Policy, and our Terms & Conditions.

 2.6 Video Surveillance and Security Technologies

To help maintain the safety, security, and integrity of our Property, guests, employees, and business operations, we use video surveillance and other security technologies throughout our Property, including gaming areas and other public areas.

Our security systems may include closed-circuit television (CCTV), body-worn cameras, and facial recognition or other biometric technologies. These technologies help us protect individuals and property, investigate incidents, prevent fraud and other unlawful activity, enforce our policies, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We may share information collected through these technologies with our service providers, regulators, law enforcement, and other governmental authorities where required or permitted by law.

3. How We May Use Personal Information

3.1 Provide You with Our Services.

Examples of how we may use Personal Information to provide you with our Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Contacting you with details and updates about your reservation
  • Responding to inquiries, comments, disputes, or claims relating to our Services
  • Communicating with you for marketing purposes, such as sending you special promotions and offers
  • Monitoring gaming activity for fraud prevention, compliance with regulatory requirements, and responsible gaming initiatives
  • Processing your casino credit
  • Processing payment for your reservation or facilitating other transactions
  • Creating and maintaining a customer profile that is accurate and complete to personalize the Services you would want to use
  • Administering our Genting Rewards, such as managing your choices for earning and using your benefits as part of our Genting Rewards
  • Processing your employment application 
  • Performing credit and background checks in limited situations, such as during the review of your casino credit application
  • Notifying you of changes to our Terms of Use and other policies or statements
  • Administering our online Services, such as maintaining its security and optimizing user experience
  • Analyzing trends and usage data relating to our Services to perform statistical studies about our customers in aggregate
  • Conducting analytics and other research to improve or develop new products and services

3.2 Other Purposes.

Examples of how we may use Personal Information for other purposes that are not in connection with our Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Safety and security purposes
  • Complying with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Satisfying our contractual obligations with third-parties
  • Protecting and defending Resorts World Las Vegas and its affiliates against legal actions or claims
  • Internal business purposes, such as audits and fraud prevention
  • Evaluating candidates who submitted applications for career opportunities

3.3 Sale of Personal Information.

Our use of online tracking technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain laws. To the extent that these online tracking technologies are deemed to be a “sale” or “sharing” under certain laws, you may opt out of such sharing as described below.

4. How We May Share Personal Information

4.1 Our Affiliates.

We may share Personal Information with our affiliates, for the purposes described in this Policy, consistent with our goal of providing you with exceptional customer service.

4.2 Non-Affiliated Business Partners.

We may share Personal Information with non-affiliated business partners so that they can perform certain functions on our behalf in connection with our Services including, but not limited to:

  • Processing transactions and fulfilling your requests
  • Providing IT, security, and customer service support
  • Performing credit and background checks
  • Marketing and advertising purposes
  • Analytics and research for improving user experience or development of new services

4.3 Government Authorities.

We may share Personal Information if it is reasonably necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, and administrative requirements including, but not limited to:

  • Responding to a subpoena, warrant, court order, gaming regulator, licensing authority, or law enforcement as required to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Cooperating with law enforcement or regulatory investigations
  • Protecting against fraud, security threats, and other risks
  • Protecting our operations, property, and other safety purposes
  • Protecting and defending Resorts World Las Vegas and its affiliates against legal actions or claims
  • Pursuing our rights such as the collection of debts
  • Enforcing our Terms of Service and other policies

4.4 Third Parties.

We may share Personal Information with service providers, vendors, and partners that perform services on our behalf, including hosting, analytics, customer support, marketing, and payment processing. These parties are contractually required to process Personal Information only as necessary to provide services to us.

4.5 Business Transfers, Bankruptcy, or Reorganization.

We may share and transfer Personal Information to a third party, such as a successor in interest, in the event of a business transfer, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, joint venture, or other purchase or sale of all or a any portion of our business interests or assets.

4.6 Sharing of Information with Brand Partners (Hilton) 

Our hotel participates in a branded hospitality network affiliated with Hilton. As part of this relationship, we share guest information with Hilton and its affiliated entities to facilitate the operation of the brand, including reservations, loyalty program participation, guest services, and brand-level analytics and marketing. When you book a stay with us, or enroll in or use a loyalty or rewards program, the personal information we collect may be shared with Hilton. We and Hilton may act as independent businesses with respect to your personal information, or Hilton may process personal information on our behalf in connection with specific services. 5. Marketing and Communication Preferences

If you no longer wish to receive marketing-related communication from us, or do not want us to share your Personal Information for marketing purposes, you may opt-out by following the unsubscribe instructions included in any such communication or by contacting us at the information provided below. Please note that while you may opt-out of the use and sharing of Personal Information for marketing purposes, we may still use and share your Personal Information for non-marketing purposes described in this Policy. You may also opt out of targeted advertising or the “sharing” of Personal Information as defined under applicable law by using our cookie settings or submitting a request as described below.

6. Notice of Privacy Rights for Certain Residents.  

Residents of certain US states may have rights and choices regarding their Personal Information. These rights may apply in the following states: Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia. To the extent any data protection law applies to our collection of your Personal Information, this supplemental section of our Privacy Policy outlines the individual rights you may be entitled to and how to exercise those rights.

Depending on where you live and subject to certain exceptions, you may have some or all of the following rights.

  • Right to Know. You may have the right to request that we confirm whether we process your Personal Information, and to request information about our collection and use of your Personal Information, including whether we sell or share your Personal Information. You also have the right to request access to Personal Information we may process about you.
  • Right to Access/Data Portability. Where the processing is carried out by automated means, and subject to certain exceptions, you may have the right to request and obtain a copy of your Personal Information that you previously provided to us in a portable format. In addition, to the extent technically feasible, you may have the right to obtain your Personal Information in a readily usable format that allows you to transmit the Personal Information to another data controller without hindrance.
  • Right to Request Correction of Inaccurate Personal Information. To the extent that we may maintain inaccurate Personal Information, you may have the right to request that we correct such inaccurate Personal Information, taking into account the nature of the Personal Information and the purposes of the processing of the Personal Information.
  • Right to Request Deletion. You may have the right to request that we delete certain Personal Information or records provided by or obtained about you, with certain exceptions and limitations under applicable privacy and gaming law.
  • Right to Know and/or Opt Out of the Sale and Sharing of Personal Information. You may have the right to know and/or opt out of the processing of your Personal Information for the purpose of selling or sharing your Personal Information to third parties. We do not sell or share your Personal Information, except as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy.
  • Right to Limit Use and Disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. You may have the right to request that we limit the ways we use and disclose your sensitive Personal Information to uses which are necessary for us to perform the Services, or deliver the goods reasonably expected by you, or as authorized by law.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination. You may have a right to not be discriminated against in the Services or quality of Services you receive from us for exercising your rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights in this section including denying goods or Services, charging different prices or rates for goods or Services, or providing a different level of quality of goods and Services. However, we may offer a different price, rate, level, quality, or selection of goods or Services, including offering goods or Services for no fee, if you have exercised your right to opt-out.
  • Right to Disclosure of Third-Parties. You may have a right to know the categories and names/addresses of third parties that we have disclosed your Personal Information to under this Policy.
  • Right to Appeal. If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us using the information provided in the Contact Us section. We will review your appeal and respond in accordance with applicable law. 

6.1 Universal Opt-Outs. Resorts World Las Vegas receives and responds to the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser opt-out signal. RWLV will turn off sharing your data with third parties for personalized ads if we receive a GPC signal from you when you visit our sites.

6.2 Financial Incentive and Loyalty Programs

We may offer loyalty, rewards, promotional, sweepstakes, contest, and other programs including Genting Rewards (collectively, “Programs”) that provide financial incentives or other benefits in exchange for the collection, retention, or use of your Personal Information. Participation is voluntary, and you may opt in or withdraw at any time.

In connection with these Programs, we may collect information such as your contact details, account and loyalty information, transaction history, gaming activity (where applicable), and preferences to administer the Programs, provide rewards and benefits, personalize your experience, and improve our services.

You may withdraw from a Program at any time by closing your account, updating your preferences, or contacting us using the information provided in this Privacy Notice. Withdrawal may result in the loss of associated rewards or benefits.

We determine the value of these Programs using reasonable methods based on factors such as the costs of providing program benefits, customer engagement, and related operational and administrative expenses. The value of any financial incentive is reasonably related to the value of the Personal Information provided.

6.3 Notice to California Residents – “Shine The Light” Requests

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, the “Shine the Light” law, our customers who are residents of California may request certain information about our disclosure of Personal Information during the prior calendar year to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.

6.4 Notice to Nevada Residents

Nevada law permits certain Nevada residents to submit a verified request directing an operator not to sell certain covered information to certain unaffiliated third parties, as those terms are defined under Nevada law. We do not currently sell covered information as defined under Nevada law. Nevada residents may submit requests by contacting us using the information provided in the Contact Us section of this Privacy Notice.

6.5 Exercising Your Data Subject Rights

To the extent a state privacy law applies to your Personal Information, you may exercise applicable rights by submitting a request to us via the methods described below. For certain requests, may require that a consumer verify the request by:

  • Providing sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information, or an authorized representative; and
  • Describing your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

To help protect your privacy and maintain security, we may require you to provide certain Personal Information to verify your identity before granting you access to your Personal Information or complying with your request. Only you or your authorized agent may make a request related to your Personal Information. In addition, if you designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, we will require a copy of documentation establishing the authority of the agent (which may include without limitation, a signed letter of authority, power of attorney documents, or similar legal authorization), and verification of your own identity directly with us (as described above). You may only make certain consumer requests once or twice within a twelve (12) month period under applicable law. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

7. Security and How We Protect Personal Information

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information. While we take appropriate measures, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe that your Personal Information have been compromised, you may contact us at the information provided below.

8. Legal Gaming Age and Information About Children

Our online Services and gaming-related activities at our property are intended only for individuals who meet applicable legal gaming age requirements. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under the age of 21 in connection with gaming activities or under 13 for general online services. If you are the parent or guardian of a child under the age of thirteen (13) and believe that the child has provided us with Personal Information, you may contact us at the information provided below to request that the child’s Personal Information be deleted from our records.

9. Geographic Location of Data Storage and Processing

Resorts World Las Vegas is subject to the laws of the United States. If you are visiting the Services from a country outside the United States, you should be aware that you may transfer Personal Information about yourself to the United States, and that the data protection laws of the United States may not be as comprehensive as those in your own country. In jurisdictions outside of the United States where we are subject to different or more restrictive local laws, we may adjust our practices in those jurisdictions to comply with local laws. Otherwise, we make no representation that the practices described in this Policy are compliant with laws outside of the United States that apply to the collection, security, use and disclosure of information. Information that is collected or stored in jurisdictions outside of the United States may, subject to applicable law, be disclosed or transferred to the United States or other locations. When information is transferred to the United States, it will be handled in accordance with the laws of the United States.

We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time and without notice. All changes will be effective as of the date at the top of this Policy.
