ZOOX BECOMES OFFICIAL ROBOTAXI PARTNER OF RESORTS WORLD LAS VEGAS
LAS VEGAS (May 28, 2025) – Resorts World Las Vegas has announced Zoox, an autonomous ride-hailing company, as the property’s official robotaxi partner. This partnership marks the first official agreement between a robotaxi company and a Las Vegas resort property.
Together, Resorts World and Zoox aim to shape the future of hospitality and travel in Las Vegas. As part of the partnership, Zoox will receive a dedicated and branded pickup and drop-off location for its autonomous ride-hailing service at Resorts World. The company will also receive additional onsite opportunities, including an experiential activation within the resort.
“At Resorts World, we seek partners that align with our vision of what the future of guest experiences can be. This collaboration with Zoox reflects our commitment to integrating technology solutions that elevate our service offerings and enhance how guests experience our property,” said Carlos Castro, President and CFO of Resorts World Las Vegas. “By welcoming Zoox robotaxis into our transportation ecosystem, we’re creating new possibilities for our guests, while reinforcing Las Vegas’s position as a global innovation hub.”
Zoox is the first company in history to operate a purpose-built robotaxi on public roads, which it has been driving in Las Vegas since June 2023. Its robotaxi, which holds up to four passengers in carriage-style seating, is designed to create a superior rider experience. The private cabin gives riders the freedom to enjoy an intimate conversation as they return from dinner or to turn up the volume and belt out their favorite songs en route to see an artist in residence.
“Zoox and Resorts World share a joint focus on creating superior customer experiences. When visitors ride with Zoox, they’ll find the service offers an extension of the signature hospitality they’ve come to expect from Resorts World’s collection of premium brands, including Hilton, Conrad, and Crockfords,” said Michael White, Chief Product Officer, Zoox. “This partnership will allow us to enhance the overall guest journey, adding to their Las Vegas experience with personalized mobility.”
Zoox plans to open its autonomous ride-hailing service to the broader general public in Las Vegas later this year. To learn more about Zoox and for more information about its robotaxi service, visit zoox.com.
